Legacy Planning
Heaton Smith is a legacy planning firm that has worked with Prisma Health-Upstate donors for more than seven years. Our Heaton Smith consultant, Dave Smith, guides donors through their values-based legacy planning process, helping donors determine their family, financial and philanthropic legacies. Heaton Smith makes specific legacy goal recommendations that are reviewed and implemented by donors’ existing advisors. Importantly, Heaton Smith’s planning is a no-cost service that the Upstate Foundation offers to our donors, and they do not sell any products.
