Learn more about the impact of your gift below and let’s build a beacon of hope, health, and healing together.

Improving Access to Behavioral Health Care Together
The need for expanded and innovative behavioral health care has never been greater in the Upstate. According to Mental Health America, nearly 26% of adults in the Upstate and 15% of South Carolina youth were at high risk for depression in 2024. By expanding behavioral health services across the Upstate, we’re not only addressing the need for increased access for patients and their families – we’re prioritizing an area of health care that’s been underserved, undervalued, and underfunded.
“One day we’ll open the doors to our new behavioral health hospital, a place of hope, healing, and transformation for our entire community.”
– Karen Lommel, DO, MHA, MS, DFAACAP, FACEP
