RE/MAX Results collects 30,000 diapers to benefit the Bradshaw Institute Diaper Bank at Prisma Health Children’s Hospital in the Upstate.
(Greenville, S.C.) – RE/MAX RESULTS is celebrating the successful completion of its second annual diaper drive for the Children’s Miracle Network benefitting the Bradshaw Institute Diaper Bank at the Prisma Children’s Hospital in the Upstate.
On Thursday, September 9, RE/MAX agents delivered approximately 30,000 diapers to the Bradshaw Institute Diaper Bank to directly impact 1,358 families representing 1,630 children who have registered to receive diapers at the Sept. 28 community distribution event.
“We are excited to team with Prisma Health Children’s Hospital for another successful year in our efforts to help in this cause,” stated Rebecca Kasper, Director of Operations, for RE/MAX RESULTS. “Last year, we were so fortunate to help kick-off the diaper bank for our community and this year we surpassed last year’s totals, energized the entire team, and most importantly doubling the impact on our community.”
According to the National Diaper Bank Network, 1 in 3 families report experiencing a diaper need. Additionally, 57 percent of parents reported that they missed an average of four days of school or work as most childcare facilities require parents to provide diapers.
