Legacy Society
The Prisma Health Upstate Foundation Legacy Society recognizes the generous intentions of our most forward-thinking, philanthropic supporters – those who build their legacies by making a planned gift, a provision in their estate plan, or an endowment gift of $25,000 or more to benefit Prisma Health-Upstate.
Honoring our 2024 Philanthropy Award Recipients

Kelly Willenberg
B.K. Bryan Spirit of Philanthropy Award
Kelly was honored for her transformative work with Prisma Health Children’s Hospital-Upstate. After losing her husband and learning of her granddaughter’s congenital heart defect, Kelly established the Dale A. Willenberg Congenital Heart Disease Endowment, which supports the Prisma Health Children’s Hospital Camp Heart-to-Heart, a summer camp for children with heart conditions. This program provides a safe, joyful space for kids to experience childhood adventures, empowering them with courage and community.
Elizabeth H. DuBose, DPT, CBIS-AP
Be the Difference Award
Elizabeth received this award for her visionary leadership as administrator of Prisma Health Roger C. Peace Rehabilitation Hospital. Her dedication to patients and their families led to the opening of the Roger C. Peace Adaptive Sports and Wellness Center at Unity Park, a $2 million facility that was 100% philanthropically funded and expanded access to adaptive sports, physical therapy, and wellness services for individuals of all abilities. Elizabeth’s work reignites hope and helps patients reclaim their lives.
