This week is Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Cancer Awareness week

This week is Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Cancer Awareness week which was created to raise awareness about the unique challenges that AYA cancer survivors face each day and to show how their community can help.

Prisma Health has a collaborative AYA program offering coordinated cancer care for young adults ages 15–39. Our program brings together specialized care providers from the pediatric and adult worlds. Our doctors and caregivers are committed to improving outcomes for AYA patients. As part of our AYA program, Prisma Health Cancer Institute at Greer Memorial Hospital has been able to create a beautiful space for our AYA patients. For more information about our program, visit rptn.io/cDABvAAAXAg.

Hats off to our clinical team who care for our AYA patients everyday and help us improve lives! #prismahealthproud #prismahealthcancercare
